Kartik Dube

Managing Director

Kartik Dube has the experience of working on sustainable and low carbon transport, GHG reduction, clean air, and business sustainability projects during his past associations. A Mechanical Engineer by background and an MBA in Business Analytics and Digital Marketing, is an Energy, Environment and Climate Change professional with strong interpersonal, team building and leadership skills and result-oriented approach towards bringing a change for a more sustainable world. He has worked on the programs funded by several multi-lateral and donor organisations such as Asian Development Bank, The World Bank, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), UN Environment, MacArthur Foundation, and the private sector. In the past, he has worked in the field of corporate sustainability by strategizing and creating capacity to mainstream environmental sustainability in corporate business models.

Amar Yadav

Director

Mr. Amar Nath Yadav has 25 years of multi domain, cross cultural experience on administration and financial management working with private sector and not-for-profit organizations. He has worked as Administration Manager for the programs funded by international agencies like USAID, World Bank, DFID. His core areas of strength are strategic planning, accounts, administration, and contracts management and inter and intrapersonal communication management. He has undergone training in ‘Computer Information and Management’. He is bachelor’s in arts from University of Delhi with an MBA in Marketing, Finance and HR.

Anant Joshi

Sr. Project Manager

Mr. Anant Joshi has over 8 years of experience working in clean energy & environment sectors and is currently employed at IRIPL as Project Manager. Prior to joining IRIPL, he has worked as Research Associate and Subsequently as an Associate Fellow at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) his key assignments include working on cross-cutting development projects on addressing issues related to air pollution, energy efficiency, climate change mitigation, community development, clean energy access, efficient social housing design with a focus on livelihood improvement of vulnerable communities and gender mainstreaming with project experience spanning nationally and internationally. Mr. Joshi has worked as a research professional at The Energy and Resources Institute (2013-2019) and Guest faculty (Solar Energy) at Centre for Energy and Environment, MNIT Jaipur (2013). Mr. Joshi has extensive experience in working on large-scale energy efficiency programs including NAMA for the building sector in Southeast Asia supported, Study of Delhi’ Air pollution, understanding indoor air quality, and effect of ventilation air on indoor air quality. Mr. Joshi is a Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) certified energy manager, and BEE Empanelled ECBC expert. Mr. Joshi has worked on assignments involving energy audit, modeling of GHG inventory and baseline, and future emission projection of energy consumption and GHG emission. Mr. Joshi has also worked as a visiting faculty at Teri School of Advanced Studies; and Guest Faculty at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT Jaipur). He has delivered lectures at various management development programs and conducted capacity-building workshops for both the public and private sector.

Sonia Shukla

Advisor

Sonia Shukla has more than a decade of experience in electric mobility, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable development. She has worked with several multi-lateral and donor organizations such as The World Bank, ADB, IFC GIZ, USAID, and other foundations. She is presently working with IIEC as senior project manager handling projects on energy efficiency and renewable energy in buildings. She has worked on development and implementation of innovative financial strategies for promotion of rooftop solar and energy efficiency projects. She worked with IFC to increase loan pipeline of energy efficiency projects for the partner financial institutes under PRGFEE scheme of Bureau of Energy Efficiency, India. She has assisted several private players in financial analysis of project CAPEX, business strategy formulation, assessment of state policies, and regulations on RE sector. She was also involved in developing unique and innovative DSM programmes under the Standard Offer Program framework and has carried out load research for several distribution utilities. She has worked with several Indian states under World Bank and ADB TA program for policy formulation and institutional capacity building on solar rooftop program.

Dr. B. Sengupta

Advisor

Dr. B. Sengupta has 45 years of vast experience in the field of Air and Water Quality Management, Industrial Pollution Control, Standard Development (Ambient and Source specific), Environmental Impact Assessment Studies, Fuel Quality improvements, Clean Technology, Waste Minimization, Pollution Prevention issues, Pollution Control in large industries and SS units, Climate Change, Hazardous and Solid Waste Management. He is a former Member Secretary of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India where he was responsible for providing initiation! coordination/guidance to the technical activities in the field of pollution control. He has the experience of developing Emission/Effluent Standard for about 70 categories (all major polluting industries and SS! units) of industries for pollution control. These standards are evolved based and techno-economic viability and health studies and risk assessments. Also, developed Ambient Air Quality Standard and Water Quality Objectives based on health impact studies. In the past, he also worked in University of Florida, Gainesville, USA on air quality management and control.

Felix Gooneratne

Mr. Felix Gooneratne is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Energy; he holds his Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom. He is an energy efficiency and Demand Side Management expert based in Melbourne, Australia. He has worked with IIEC as Asia Director in January 2001 and served as CEO from October 2013 to December 2018 With more than 40 years of experience advancing energy efficiency, demand-side management (DSM), and related international clean energy efforts, Felix brings forward reaching vision to programs. His proven technical expertise is design and implement innovative energy efficiency programs and achieve results. Felix has designed and implemented projects throughout the United Kingdom, Australia, Asia Africa, and the Pacific region ~ managing international teams to achieve significant energy savings. In the past, Felix held senior positions at PA Consulting Group, UNDP, Bechtel International, and the Australian Department of Energy. He has extensive project management experience with agencies such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, United Nations Development Program, USAID, AusAid, and the European Commission.
